Monterey

Haven't updated for a while because was at a conference for work in Monterey California.

View from my hotel room, overlooking a golf course.

The Hyatt always has the best beds. Could sleep entirely in pillows if you desire. An observation on a recent Seinfeld show reminded me of how the sheets are too tight at the base of the bed and can break your ankle if not careful.

The Wharf. Lots of good seafood and Boston clam chowder.

A view overlooking the dusk bay. Turns out Governor Schwarzenegger was in Monterey at the time too, but only saw him on the news.

I like the boat pick-- it's beautiful. Looks like something my mom might want to paint. Yum, clam chowder.

was in monterrey on audi's dime a half dozen years ago. was at the wharf, laguna seca racetrack and drove into carmel and the ocean beach to get clink eastwood's autograph. not sure he was still mayor. audi put us up at, i believe, the portola plaza hotel. the airport is one of the largest, it seems, in terms of traffic. great place to land and enjoy. hope audi spends another dime in the near future for those of us who like the A8.

try not to forget important trivia (mount carmel resort dinner) again. also you can forget that if it's trivia, it's not important and if it's important, it's not trivia.
