Some Family HistoryRead all about the violent history of my ancestors here.
UPDATE: Wow, some extra unconfirmed stuff:
1) Sinclairs of Roslin were heriditary grand masters of Masons in Scotland.
2) Knights Templars, a powerful, wealthy force, throughout Europe, formed in the 1100's to protect pilgrams going to Jerusalem. In 1312 the King of France ordered them suppressed. Survivors escaped to Scotland, where King Robert the Bruce protected them, hiding treasure at Rosslyn Castle. There are many Templar graves in the Sinclair family cemetary.

I never knew Upton Sinclair was part of "our" Sinclaire family, even tangentially. I wonder where he fits in. Interesting.
Have just returned from the Sinclaire outpost in Northville and can report that all is well. Lots of catching up to do after another set-to with Dell (had to replace AC adapter).
what's the deleted comment?
the sinclair(e)notoriety lives on with many noted (well, by them)descendants today's members of the Holy Grail Society, Rosicrucians United for Heresy, Catholic Order of the Holy Sceptre and the ACLU (after all, the U.S. must die before the sinclairs and allied masonic forces can really take over the world).
And have we all read The Da Vinci Code by now? Not my kind of book, but pretty astonishing to find that the denouement takes place at Rosslyn Castle. We may be direct descendents of Jesus and Mary Magdalene, no less.
The deleted comment was some advertising that got placed on my blog because I allow anonyous posting.
To DAD: Now that's what I like to see, informative educated argument. ACLU may be taking it too far though, heh.
To 65: Another piece in the puzzle from the puzzlemaster. Never had the desire to read the Da Vinci Code or see the movie, but astonishing nontheless.
