Conan Emmy Intro

Conan O'Brien is my favorite talkshow host. I often watch "Late Night", um well, late at night (the monologue anyway.) Here is the controversial (because was the same day as Kansas plane crash) intro to the recent Emmy's. Minus the tragedy, this is pure comedic genius.
Vortex
Another screensaver I made. This will create a vortex and suck your computer screen into oblivion. Once again it needs to be put in your WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/ folder to run from the display properties screen. Since I wrote it before the existence of Windows XP and the like, the "settings" function does not work properly on the properties window. A way around this is to right click on the file itself and select "configure." This will allow you set a slider control and experiment with different "vorticity" values. The above picture is a artists painting of the giant red spot of Jupiter, which in itself is a giant vortex. Download here

Billy's Balloon

Some more Hertzfeldt animation. Ever watch that French short film as a kid where there was a boy and a red balloon that followed him around everywhere? Well I did, we were forced to watch it EVERY year in gradeschool. After seeing it that many times I still don't know what the moral was, maybe the balloon floating off or popping or whatever it did at the end has some significance. Here is what should have happened. Kids are so cute.

Venny Hill
Here's a link to another blog I found. Well not actually, got the idea from www.b3ta.com, silly Brits. Anyway, this chap uses Venn diagrams (a visual method of probability spaces and groups.) to express humor. You can check it out at indexed.blogspot.com.

Good movie

Saw a good movie last night. It had Clint Eastwood and some guy and a girl. Was about the wild west and love and stuff. I liked it because it was good.

Free Energy: The Race to Zero Point

The theory of zero point energy and numerous free energy devices. This is a little lesson on modern day physics for all of you. It includes such masters as Telsa, Einstein, and Maxwell. It is long, almost two hours, so I recommend you grab a bottle of wine and sit down to be enlightened.

Some clips of the early additions for the new movie Snakes on a Plane, including my favorite actors, well sorta...

Animusic - Starship Groove

A fun little fusion of electronica music and computer animation.

Bump keying

Something to make you all paranoid, and rightly so. However I offer you this Buddist comfort:

"Let the wise person do righteousness: A treasure that others can not share, which no thief can steal; a treasure which does not pass away."

Our Hero Has ArrivedSee if any of you can figure out how I did this. Alexander of the quantum void

Hypercube ScreensaverHere is a little Windows screensaver I made a while back. It represents a cube rotating in four dimensions. Since we cannot directly visualize the fourth dimension, the "hypercube" is projected into three dimensions. This can be thought of as its shadow. This is then displayed on your two dimensional screen using the OpenGL graphics library. To run, put in your Windows system32 folder and then select the screensaver from your display properties panel. It can be quite mesmerizing.

Nuclear Power

The Hindu God Shiva just called me to say that "I" am actually not in control, and that Oppenheimer's quantum "creator and destroyer" is only a fingertip away from his eight dancing arms. He also said he likes the band White Zombie.

Had to post this picture of course, just to let everybody know that I am in charge and the quantum void chaos is under control.

These are the CityPlex towers where I work in the center tower. They were conceived when Oral Roberts had a dream about a 900 foot tall Jesus. Unfortunately he only got enough donatations to build a 650 foot Jesus. They (Jesus) are now independently owned and managed.
